1. Acceptance and scope
Before accessing TornCat Mossos, you must confirm that you have read and accepted these terms and the privacy policy. The app keeps a versioned acceptance record linked to the account, with date and time, to evidence it and apply future document changes.
To create or publish content visible to other users, such as Canvis/coverage requests, invitations, shared profiles or any equivalent social feature, you must accept these rules before posting or sharing.
2. Unofficial nature
TornCat Mossos is a private personal organisation tool. It is not an official app and does not represent any police force, public administration, union, professional association or institutional entity.
The app does not replace official rosters, orders, internal communications, service instructions, agreements, employment rules, official systems or legal advice. Any calculation, alert or reminder must be checked against the relevant official sources.
3. Permitted use
- Use the app to organise your own shifts, leave, reminders and personal availability.
- Share schedules only with authorised people and only when you have the right to do so.
- Use Canvis/coverage functions respectfully, truthfully and without abuse.
- Enter only your own lawful, unclassified and operationally non-sensitive information.
4. Prohibited use
- Do not enter official credentials, badge numbers, institutional passwords or internal-system data.
- Do not publish operational, police, classified, confidential or third-party information without authorisation.
- Do not impersonate, harass, threaten, discriminate, post offensive content or use the app for abuse.
- Do not attempt to access another person's account, extract data, automate abuse or interfere with service security.
- Do not present the app as official or use it to create institutional confusion.
5. Sharing, Social and Canvis rules
Sharing functions are voluntary. Users decide what to share, with whom and for how long. Before sharing a schedule, check that it contains no sensitive, confidential or third-party information.
Canvis and coverage features are intended for professional coordination between authorised people in the app context. They must not be used to publish sensitive operational information, third-party data, orders, official instructions, sensitive locations or content that could compromise services or people.
Content may be removed, accounts blocked or features restricted if abuse, offensive content, unauthorised data publication, impersonation, spam or use contrary to these terms is detected.
6. Moderation, reports and blocking
If a feature allows posting, requesting changes, sending messages, sharing schedules or displaying user-generated content to other people, users must have visible mechanisms to report content or abusive behaviour.
Where direct interaction exists, the app must allow users to block or restrict interaction with another user. TornCat Mossos may review reports, remove content, suspend features or block accounts in cases of abuse, spam, harassment, impersonation, unauthorised data publication or breach of these rules.
If a report requires manual review, users can email [email protected]. Include only the information needed to understand the incident and do not include credentials, badge numbers or sensitive police information.
7. User-provided content
Users retain their rights over data or content entered in the app, but grant TornCat Mossos limited permission to store, process, display or share it only to provide the requested feature, apply visibility permissions, generate exports, moderate abuse or maintain service security.
Users confirm that they have the right to enter and share that information. TornCat Mossos may remove or restrict content when necessary to comply with these terms, protect other users, prevent abuse or meet legal requirements.
8. Account, security and deletion
Keep your account secure and use an email address you can access. If you detect unauthorised access, email [email protected]. You can request account and data deletion from the app or the public deletion page.
9. Availability and changes
The app may change, suspend features, correct errors or introduce improvements. Continuous availability and complete absence of errors are not guaranteed. Beta features may be changed or removed.
The current version is free and does not offer an active subscription or paid trial. Before introducing a paid model, these terms will be updated with the applicable price, billing period, trial, renewal, cancellation, refund and purchase-management information.
10. Limitation of liability
The app provides personal organisation and supporting calculations. Users are responsible for checking information against official sources before making employment, legal, operational or personal decisions. To the extent permitted by law, TornCat Mossos is not liable for damage arising from improper use, incorrectly entered data, service interruptions or decisions made without official verification.
11. Emergencies, minors and official channels
TornCat Mossos is not an emergency, reporting, institutional communication or official support channel. For emergencies, reports, service instructions or official communications, use the relevant official channels.
The app is not directed to minors. If a store or authority requests an age rating, it must be declared consistently with an adult workplace productivity and organisation app.
